About Us

Khouri Music offers lessons for string players aged 6 to 14 years old. Within the beginner class students are assigned one of their two preferred string instruments which they will study throughout their years in Khouri Music program. Following that year, students are placed in one of the three class levels that best suits their needs, at the discretion of the Orchestra Program Coordinator and instructors. When they are sufficiently advanced we encourage our students to audition for the local youth orchestras. To inspire them further and enhance their self-confidence, we perform several recitals and concerts throughout the year.
Our Orchestra program has 3 distinct levels: Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. Students progress through the levels as they master their skills, with an audition requirement to enter the Advanced class.
In addition, students receive private lessons on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. All private lessons are booked on availability and throughout different times of the week.
