Summer Student Sales Associate at Antiques on 48

Looking for an enthusiastic student to join the team at Antiques on 48.  The candidate will be a people person able to assist with customer service – in person and on the phone, and with sales and merchandising.  The ideal candidate will be both a team player and able to work independently, reliable and accurate in cash handling.  Candidate will be overseeing social media including TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.  Duties will also include cleaning store areas and merchandise.  Candidate will gain experience in event planning and organizing as well.
Position to start immediately part time with hours increasing as of July 1.  Must be able to work minimum of 30 hours per week beginning July 1 and including all weekends. Training will be provided but knowledge of antiques or history an asset.  Must be able to assist with carrying furniture up & down stairs and to customer vehicles and handle fragile items with care. Suitable for post secondary student - must be returning to school in the fall.
