    Job Duties:

    • Making sure everyone has paid fee for the Ferry.
    • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with customers.
    • Provide any information the customers may have regarding the transportation system.
    • Provide daily summary of collected fees and number of passengers.
    • Maintain Crowd/Traffic control in Ferry Line and oncoming traffic.
    • Report any violations and keep record for management.
    • Verify intentions/eligibility to utilize the Ferry.
    • Cash handling; debit/credit machine operations.
     
    Qualifications:
    • Completion of secondary school is required.
    • Valid certificate in First Aid/CPR or MAFA (Marine Advanced First Aid)
    • Must be reliable and able to work throughout the night.
    • Must have valid Ontario class ‘G’ license and access to own transportation.
    • Must be able to work independently in the completion of the duties.
    • Must be personable and able to work as part of the team with integrity and professionalism.
    • Must be able to provide a clear CPIC upon hiring.
    • Knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
    • Surveillance skills and detail orientation is an asset.
