Support Worker

Community Living Georgina is hiring a Support Worker to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in both group home and community settings.

 Location: Sutton, Ontario (Georgina Area)
 Job Type: Temporary Full-Time (Approx. 1 Year)
 Wage: $30.43 – $32.48 per hour

DUTIES INCLUDE

• Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)

• Meal preparation and feeding support

• Medication administration

• Emotional support and companionship

• Community participation and outings

• Daily documentation and reporting

• Maintaining a safe, clean environment

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Diploma in Human Services / Developmental Services / Health Services
  OR minimum 2 years’ related experience

• Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Reliable, punctual, and responsible

• Comfortable providing personal care and physical support

REQUIREMENTS

• Current First Aid & CPR certification

• Valid Ontario G2 or G Driver’s Licence

• Reliable vehicle

• Clean driving record with $1M liability insurance

• Ability to work shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)

• Physical ability to assist with lifting and mobility support

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Shift work in residential and community settings

• Physical assistance required

• Fast-paced, client-focused environment
