Press Operator - Newmarket, ON - Full-Time Afternoons

Today, in addition to our manufacturing plant located in Newmarket, Ontario, we have 4 retail locations throughout Ontario.
We are looking for a Press Operator to join our team in Newmarket. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the stamping and production of metal building products through the operation of stamping presses.
Major Areas of Responsibilities
- Daily inspections of press
- Load coil
- Feeding/loading coil
- Die setup
- Preparing labels for boxes
- Producing product using various presses
- Inspection of product
- Packaging product
- Stack boxes onto skids
- Complete production paperwork
- Report press or die issues to maintenance
- General housekeeping of work area
- Other duties as required
- Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures at all times
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Attention to Detail

- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
- Effective communicator with co-workers and all levels of management
Education/Certification/Experience
- Forklift experience and certification (asset)

Schedule:
- Afternoon shift - Monday-Friday 3pm-12am (afternoon shift premium applies)
Pay Range:
- $21.80-$23/hour
