Access to capital during a time of crisis requires founders to re-assess their fund raising strategies. Dominic Lau from Ripple Ventures will be running a session on fundraising tactics, as well as some actionable items founders can take during COVID to better position their fund raising plans.
About the Presenter
Dominic is passionate about helping early stage technology companies grow. After realizing the impact that initial mentors and investors could have on startups while working with idea stage companies in the DMZ Sandbox Based Program, Dominic decided to shift his career from public accounting with KPMG to venture capital. Dominic has previously worked at Extreme Venture Partners / Extreme Accelerator, and was an Associate at the UWaterloo Student Venture Fund. Now, he hopes to continue his journey in helping founders get to the next level through Ripple Ventures.
