Warm Hearts, Warm Community

Tuesday, November 17th 4:30 – 7:30 PM
 

We're excited to bring our community together for Warm Hearts, Warm Community, an evening to introduce community members to Hospice Georgina, share information about our programs and supports, and highlight the wonderful people and organizations who support our work.

Event Schedule

4:30 PM — Doors Open

A drop-in-style community open house. Throughout the evening, guests can:

• Enjoy chili and hot chocolate served by our local firefighters 

• Visit the Learning Café bake sale

• Take part in an Art Heals craft activity

• Meet Hospice Georgina staff, Board members, and volunteers

• Learn about our programs and In-Home Visiting services

• Learn about our grief supports

• Learn about our volunteer services and opportunities

Special Features

4:30 – 5:30 PM — Therapy Dogs

?? The Link Lobby

The Partner Dogs therapy dog group will be joining us for the first hour to meet community members and share more about the visits they provide to Hospice Georgina clients.

 

6:00 – 7:00 PM — Ageless Grace Demonstration

?? The Link Lobby

The Ageless Grace team will lead a one-hour demonstration and give guests an opportunity to learn about and experience the program.

 

7:30 PM — Event Concludes
