The Keswick Optimist Club Toy and Gift aims to help  families in need of some support at Christmas time! Locations will start accepting donations on November 12th and drop off locations are as listed below but more locations will be added over the next 2 weeks! Keep updated on the locations and get the word out about needed items and when we need volunteers by joining their Facebook group linked below!

Get involved in making it a Merry Christmas for all by volunteering or dropping off a toy/gift for a family in need!




Join YRP & the YRP Volunteers for their Annual Christmas Toy Drive! All of the toys that are donated and the cash collected goes right back into the community to help Georgina's children have an incredible Christmas this year!

The campaign will be officially running from November 15 to December 14, 2018. However, if you would like to start your collection sooner, you certainly can!

Get ready to Shades of Hope Annual Online Holiday Auction! Biding item proceeds go to help support all the work that they do nurturing, treating & rehabilitating injured and orphaned native wildlife in Georgina!

The Walk to Bethlehem is a free event that will again take place in Pefferlaw at the Cedardale Church! The journey begins on Friday, November 16th, at 6:30 PM and on Saturday, November 17th, at 6:00 PM, finishing at 10:00 PM on both evenings!

Santa Claus is coming to Town! The Keswick Santa Claus Parade, Hosted by the Kinsmen! The parade starts at Biscayne Blvd. and the Queensway at 1:30 PM, follows the Queensway to Metro Road and goes up Simcoe Street and ends at Church Street and the Queensway!

Shop The Georgina Trades Training Centre for their 7th annual one-day holiday shopping event! This event will be held at the Link in Sutton and will have a variety of vendors from 11AM to 3PM! The One Stop Holiday Shop is a fundraiser to help The Training Centre - GTTI to sustain vital programs that support community members in achieving their training and employment goals. 

Admission only costs a $1 donation to The Training Centre - GTTI or a non-perishable food items donation to the Georgina Community Food Pantry!

Get together as a community for the 4th annual Tree Lighting ceremony hosted by the Uptown Keswick BIA, Twice as Nice- Kids Boutiqe and Petal Pushers! Enjoy fun filled events throughout the night like Santa photos, carolling and more, from 5PM until 8PM! They will be also be accepting donations for the Georgina Community Food Pantry at this event!

The Pefferlaw Branch of the Georgina Public Library has announced and opened up registration for the Painters' Circle! This very popular program will be on Sunday, November 25 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  Paint a winter wonderland with them for only $10.00 a person, snacks and refreshments included! Registration and payment must be made in-person at Pefferlaw Branch.
