The holiday season is a time for kindness, connection, and community — and together, we can help make the season brighter for local families in need.
Many families right here in Georgina are experiencing food insecurity and could use a little extra help this time of year. That’s why we’re once again inviting you to create a Blessing Basket — a basket filled with everything needed for a full holiday meal, plus a few festive extras to lift spirits.
Gather your family, friends, coworkers, or community group to fill a basket and help bring comfort and joy to a local family this holiday season.

With the help of the Guidance Counsellors from Keswick High School, all baskets will be gifted directly to local families in need of a little extra support this year. Together, we can ensure that every family feels the warmth of community during the holidays.

Each Blessing Basket should include:

A laundry basket to hold the goodies (no bags) — feel free to decorate it!

A $25 Turkey or Ham Gift Card (Zehr’s or Walmart)

Cans of corn, green beans, peas, carrots, and cranberry sauce

Boxes of stuffing and mashed potatoes

Cans/packets of gravy & cans of cream of mushroom soup

A box of corn muffin or biscuit mix

A non-perishable dessert of your choosing

Optional extras: Christmas cookies, chocolates, small gifts, pet food, socks, toiletries, laundry detergent, or other thoughtful treats.

This year, we have two convenient drop-off locations: One in Keswick and one in Sutton. Or, if it’s easier, we’ll come to you! Message us to arrange a basket pickup or drop off.
- Happy Hour Drop-Off!-
Join us on Tuesday, December 16th from 5:30–7:00 PM at the Riveredge Restaurant in Keswick.
Anyone who drops off a basket during that time will receive 10% off their meal that evening as our thank-you for helping make a difference.
