This business is known for preventing and removing barriers - the nature of the barrier may be related to attitudes, communications, physical environment, policies, programs, social, or transportation. The business acts as an accessibility ambassador or champion promoting accessibility awareness within the community. The business is committed to inclusive, barrier-free recruitment, and creating employment opportunities for persons with disabilities. The recipient of this award is nominated by their peers and recognized by the Georgina Accessibility Advisory Committee based on OADA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) standards.
