    Summary of Job Duties:

    • Assign employees to their designated area within the retail operation
    • Ensure employees adhere to safety and security protocols
    • Respect and respond to customer matters that may arise
    • Monitor and assign breaks as required and fill in if needed
    • Control front service area to ensure there is little loitering or casing of the location
    • Fill in when required to move customers from the store
    • Open safe and registers for daily operations
    • Monitor employees for register errors and correct as needed
    • Ensure the Budtenders complete cash out in accordance with policy
    • Resolve any problems that arise from the Budtender’s closing
    • Monitor employee shortages and resolve as needed
    • Complete all closing reads and close off all daily transactions
    • Complete daily cash logs
    • Implementing corrective measures and policy as developed for loss prevention
    • Participate in individual training as required
    • Energize employees through leadership of shift
    • Assign tasks to employees that are within the scope of their duties
    • Provide added training where necessary in accordance with corrective action plans
    • Ensure staffing meets with operational needs
    • Provide corrective action to employees as required
    • Delegate and perform duties related to cleaning and maintenance of store
    • Notify maintenance personnel of areas requiring service
    • Ensure displays are full and presentable
    • Adjust plan-o-grams as stock is available
    • Complete financial recordkeeping as required
    • Complete inventory of stock in front and back of house as required
    • Ensure orders are received and logged in accordance with procedure
    • Complete Purchase Order in POS system
    • Provide written documentation for corrective actions and forward to the Manager
    • Complete logbooks are required within the store

    Qualifications:
    • Completion of secondary school diploma
    • Must be able to work with staff to ensure the customer service requirements are met
    • Must be able to train employees and implement procedures as they are developed
    • Must have minimum of average to good math skills
    • Must have good communication and organizational skills
    • Must be self-motivated and able to work on projects to completion
    • Must have a good understanding of operational procedures within a retail establishment
