DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, June 2\, 2019 people across Canada will walk in support of the 17th Annual Hike for Hospice.\n\nHere in Georgina\, members of our community will gather at Loretto Maryholme in Roches Point to build awareness and raise funds in support of Hospice Georgina.\n\nHike for Hospice is a public family event. Hikers\, walkers and wanderers of all abilities are welcome to participate!\n\n100% of funds raised stays in Georgina. With community support\, Hospice Georgina will continue our critical work of providing compassionate care to the Georgina Community.\n\nPledge forms are available at Hospice Georgina or www.hospicegeorgina.com\n\nWe hope to see you there!\n\nYou're Support Matters\n\nFunds from Hike for Hospice support the following programs:\n\n	Palliative care support\n	Respite support for family members and other caregivers\n	Volunteer training\n	Grief counselling and bereavement support services\n	Community outreach and education\n	Women Cancer Group\n	Wellness Group\n	Day Hospice\n\nEvery year\, we serve the families in the Georgina Community. There is no cost or fee to use any of our hospice palliative care and bereavement services and we accept referrals by anyone.\n\nWays to Participate\n\nRegister: Register online at www.hospicegeorgina.com or download the pledge form and bring it with your registration fee (if applicable) on event day.\n\nFundraise: Collect pledges for the hike.\n\nParticipate: Not registered? Sign up at the event or just come out to show your support and enjoy the event activities.
