Mayor Margaret Quirk and members of Council will also be recognizing several businesses with a Milestone Award - to celebrate significant years of achievement in serving the Town of Georgina \n\n \n\nThis gala event is a night to celebrate business excellence and major milestones and to shine a light on all businesses in Georgina. The cut-off to buy tickets is end of day Monday\, December 5th. Physical tickets will not be given out. Names will be on a list at the registration table at the front entrance.\n \n\nDrinks\n\nWe are thrilled to have local wine\, beer and coffee available at the event. One drink voucher will be given to each attendee upon arrival for any of these items. Additional alcoholic drinks and specialty coffee can be purchased with cash there is no ATM on site. Pop and water will be available throughout the evening at no charge. \n\n \n\nDinner\n\n Thanks to the Good Food Collective\, under the leadership of Chef Cori\, attendees will enjoy a beautiful 3 course meal\, starting with a spinach and field green salad with goat cheese\, cranberries and candied pecans paired with a fig balsamic gastrique.\n\nSlow braised herb and garlic roasted chicken in a white wine sauce served with penne parmigiana piccata with spinach and wild mushrooms and green beans almandine.\n\nFollowed by a chocolate fool with fresh berries and cream for dessert\n\n\n\nMedia Coverage\n\nThe Awards portion of the evening will be taped by Rogers tv Georgina. The event will appear several times on Rogers channel 10\, rogerstv.com and on our website. \n \n\nPhotography\n\nA photographer will be on hand to take photos of the event. A photo area will be set up for attendees to take photos on their own. We encourage you to share photos and highlight business success in our community!
