    Whipper Billy Watson
    Whipper Billy Watson was a Canadian world champion wrestler. He was born in 1915, and even has his own park in Keswick! During his career he held the titles of Toronto's Regional Wrestler and British Empire.



    Curtis Joseph
    Born in Keswick in 1965, Joseph played for many teams such as the Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs. Although he never played on a team that won the Stanley Cup, he did hold the record for most career wins of any goaltender.



    Captain William Johnson
    Captain William Johnson was born in Scotland, and joined the Royal Navy in 1801. He moved to Canada 18 years later and founded the town of Pefferlaw! He also lived in Georgina and established many businesses in the area.



    Stephen Leacock 
    Born in 1869, Stephen Leacock is a Canadian humourist, lecturer, educator, and author. The Stephen Leacock Centre located in Keswick is named after him! It is said that he settled down on a Farm in Egypt, a hamlet in Georgina.



    Jim Carrey
    Jim Carrey is a popular Canadian actor known for his comedic and dramatic acting. Carrey was born in Newmarket Ontario, but it is said that his parents own land in Georgina. Carrey first stepped into the spotlight in 1990 and broke out as a star in 1994 in Ace Ventura.



    Erin Ambrose
    Erin Ambrose is a hockey player on team Canada's Women's national ice hockey team. She is also an Olympic metalist who helped Team Canada win the gold medal at Beijing 2022.



    Quinton Byfield
    Quinton Byfield is a Canadian hockey player for the Los Angeles Kings. Quinton was born and raised in Keswick and made his NHL debut in 2021.



    Sean Walker 
    Sean Walker is a Canadian hockey player for the Los Angeles Kings. Sean Walker was born and raised in Keswick and made his NHL debut for the Los Angeles Kings on October 23 2018 against the Dallas Stars. 



    Joel Hanley 
    Hanley was born in Keswick, Ontario. As a youth, he played in the 2004 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the York-Simcoe Express minor ice hockey team. He made his NHL debut that evening in a 4–1 loss to the Calgary Flames. Two nights later, he recorded his first two career NHL points (two assists) in a 4–3 win over the Anaheim Ducks. He finished the season with six assists in ten games for the Canadiens, and 13 points in 64 games for the IceCaps.




    Chris Tierney
    Chris Tierney is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Florida Panthers of the NHL. Tierney turned professional during the 2014-15 season. He made the Sharks' opening night roster and recorded his first career point (an assist) in his debut on October 8. On February 5, 2015, Tierney scored his first career NHL goal in a 5–1 win over the Vancouver Canucks. Tierney also spent time with the Sharks' AHL affiliate, the Worcester Sharks.
